For the few naysayers who snipe at the LSA leadership, THIS is how you get things done. Sitting on the sidelines and complaining doesn’t make you an activist. It makes you useless.

For anyone who really wants to learn how to get things done, volunteer to work with the leadership. They have decades of experience to share. The successes this year were made possible by the last 10 years of work.

Get out and help pull the wagon instead of sitting in it and enjoying the benefits earned by those who show up.

A massive congratulations and thanks to the folks who show up.

(Yes, there may be a veto. We’ve seen that before. Think of concealed carry. We are playing the Long Game. We’ll get these through. If not this year, in a year or two or three.)

I applied for a renewal in December (my permit has since expired). Here we are in May and my application hasn’t been processed yet. I guess it’s all those people “working” from home.
